Summary: Room was comfortable, clean, modern, spacious with full kitchen. Nice view of Harbour and amusement park. Just steps to train/bus station. Friendly staff. Good value. Could improve: Communication – need staff that can understand/speak English better; more English signs/instructions in room eg. to use telephone. No direct line to reception from room. Have to call external line which we weren’t able to do as words on phone and voice after pressing numbers were in French only. Never got wake up call cause staff didn’t understand English. We had two people, but only one set of towels in bathroom. Had to go down to reception to get towels because we couldn’t use the phone as everything was in French. General message received on the app 2 days before checkin was only in French. I had to Google translate to find out it contained relevant info that we needed. We had messaged them before in English so system should detect properly language to send esp when it’s important. Also ran out of toilet paper the morning we were leaving. we had to use Kleenex as no time to wait for delivery and we were packing to checkout. Other than that, we were very happy with the room and would still recommend.
