Gulf Stream Villa overlooks the sea towards St Tropez from a hill above Les Issambres on the coast near Sainte Maxime. The Villa is Ideal for families and friends with a heated swimming pool.
St TROPEZ
It takes 15 minutes by ferry to the village of St Tropez.
The villa:
Set on two levels: the master bedroom, dining room, sitting room and kitchen are on the upper floor with a large exterior dining patio overlooking the ocean and hills to the South West.
The 4 additional double bedrooms are on the ground floor overlooking the pool and garden.
Bedrooms:
There are 4 doubles and one twin bedroom, all with: en-suite shower rooms (one has a bath), air-conditioning, and french doors onto the garden.
The villa has the 4 star French classification.
POOL:
The large, private, HEATED, salt water swimming pool, 10m x 4m, overlooks the bay. There is a "Chat and Chill" poolside bar with a fridge, sink, plastic wine glasses and power for your Bluetooth speaker.
PATIO:
The villa has interior and exterior dining for 10 and truly magnificent views of the gulf of St Tropez and the Mediterranean sea. You, your family and friends will have a very peaceful holiday here. No one overlooks Gulf Stream.
This is our family holiday home. It is our shabby chic.It is not a new build hotel. It is Provençal.
Facilities:
We provide white cotton bed linen and 2 towels per guest. There is private parking for 2 cars and on street parking for 2 more.
The modern granite and steel kitchen has ample cutlery and white china for 12. A large Samsung fridge and freezer, an ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and Smeg cooker and 2 types of coffee machine: filter and capsules (bring Nespresso capsules).
The interior dining room has a marble and glass table for 10.
The spacious sitting room has 3 shabby Chic leather sofas with a 52 inch flat screen TV, a sound bar, with free to view UK TV, and film streaming through Apple TV for Netflicks, Amazon Prime, Disney + etc.
There is Wi-fi through out the villa.
We have good mobile phone reception.
The villa has two BBQs: one is a marble and steel Griddle BBQ, gaz powered. The other is a steel roll top Gaz BBQ on the dining terrace. (The gaz bottles are sold in the village).
We provide an English and German fiction book library and a DVD Film library with the Harry Potter series, the Bond movie series, Pixar and Disney movies and some classic box sets: Homeland etc.
The first floor patio runs the breadth of the villa and has a large exterior dining table seating 10, with a beautiful view of the bay and 4 whicker armchairs for after dinner brandies.
Families of 12:
There is a double sofa bed for 2 more guests if you have families with kids.
Kids:
We provide a baby cot, stair gate and high chair, plastic plates and cups.
On the pool patios are 10 sun loungers a full size ping pong table and a boules pitch.
Gyms:
On the first floor is an air-conditioned gym with a running machine and cross trainer with a flat screen TV and Apple TV streaming.
On the ground floor is the 2nd hot gym with a treadmill, exercise bike and abs trainer
The rental price is all inclusive.
Staff Services and Local Tax, gardeners and pool men are included in the rental price. A full clean before you arrive is included. The housekeeper makes the beds with fresh linen included in the price for your arrival.
We provide 2 large towels per person and bath mats all included in the price.
The house keeper will help you on arrival. If you wish her to clean daily (or you are staying more than a week and want her to come in weekly) you can negotiate an additional price locally with her.
There is a laundry/washing machine room in the garage at the villa with Miele machines.
Nearby:
You need a car. It’s too far to walk to the village and back.
Positioned 15 minutes drive from the historic town of Sainte Maxime and 5 minutes drive from the seaside village of Les Issambres, the local coast has white sandy beaches and is ideal for a beach holiday. The award winning La Nartelle beach is 10 minutes from the villa and has 8 high quality beach restaurants and water sports. The beaches are is safe for children.
Motor boat hire:
you can rent a motor boat from Les Issambres port 15 minutes away. Go snorkelling, visit Pampelonne beach
Local Activities:
Aquapark: There is a great Aqua park 10 minutes drive from the villa with fun for the whole family for the day.
SCUBA: There is scuba-diving from Ste Maxime port.
Golf: Ste Maxime has a challenging woodland golf course overlooking the gulf with breathtaking views, you can pay and play in season.
Other Activities: go carting in Frejus is 15 minutes drive.
Sailing and tennis: there are clubs in Les Issambres.
Mountain walking: the Massive Des Maures sit behind the villa and are perfect for hiking and walking. We are 2 hours from the Gorge du Verdun.
Day trips: The best day trips are: to the village of St Tropez by Bateau Verte ferry; drive to the Gorge du Verdun and walk the gorge; drive to Cannes for the film festival and to Monte Carlo for the casino and the grand Prix; and drive to Auberge La Mole for great food.
Rentals: are 7 day minimum in High season and 5 day minimum out of season. Gulf Stream Villa is available all year round.
