🛋️ The soothing living room, in a palette of blue and terracotta tones, features a generous sofa, a designer coffee table, a television, and a small desk with views over the rooftops of the historic center. Antique terracotta tiles and wooden details set a warm atmosphere.
🛏️ On the same level, the bedroom offers a 160×200 cm bed with quality bedding and integrated lighting in two niches on either side. Beneath exposed beams, soft blue walls and off-white pair beautifully with the terracotta tiles—an enveloping, authentic feel. A wooden wardrobe with hangers completes the room.
🛁 Adjacent to the bedroom, the elegant, functional bathroom includes a walk-in shower with cement tiles, a black double ceramic sink set on a natural wood countertop, and pretty patterned tiles. Separate WC.

👤 My name is Élodie, and I fell in love with Lourmarin about fifteen years ago. A stylist and interior designer, I decided to leave Paris, my hometown, to settle in my village of the heart and pursue my two passions: fashion, with the boutique CARACTÈRE(S), and interior design, welcoming you into a cozy cocoon with Maison de Caractère. Driven by my love of craftsmanship, I also opened, to the delight of food lovers, the Au Panem bakery—an authentic bakery known for its artisanal production, 100% organic flours, and natural sourdough. My goal: to offer you a complete Provençal experience—great products, sharp style, and an interior where it simply feels good to live.
❤️ Lourmarin is also a story and a soul. Dominated by its Renaissance château, the village has inspired writers and artists drawn by its light and gentle Provençal way of life. Just a few minutes’ drive away, the landscapes of the Luberon Regional Nature Park unfold between vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields. The hilltop villages of Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Ansouis, and Cucuron make for perfect outings, not to mention the Ochres of Roussillon and the “Colorado Provençal” for walks in unique colors. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking trails and cycling routes, while epicureans can explore wine estates and gourmet tables.
Thanks to its central location, the house is an excellent base for exploring: Aix-en-Provence (≈35 min), Avignon TGV (≈50 min), and Marseille Provence Airport (≈1 h) make arrivals and day trips easy.
