Summary: My wife, young son and I spent 2 weeks at Pierrefeu; for 1 week we were also joined by my parents and my aunt. Everybody loved the layout and setting of the house, as well as its unique remoteness. The interior is quite rustic but in very good functional order. The outside is stunning in really all aspects (morphology of the landscape, plants and animals, etc.). The ability to do beautiful walks right from the house combined with ample potential for great excursions within <45 min driving distance makes for an ideal location. The caretaker Marion was very nice and helpful and so was the owner (via email). We definitely would be staying there again.
