Positive: The view was very nice and the apartment had everything you need.

Negative: The organization of the check in was horribly complicated. We had to pay a deposit of 600 euros. That was not really visible on booking.com. For a verification we have send a screenshot to the owners, but it wasn't enough, so we had to ask for a document emitted by the bank, in order to send it to the owner. Also blankets where not included! They had an extra cost of 50 euros! We had to pay them cash and we did not get any receipt. For me it is like renting a car and then having to pay extra for wheels on it. In this all the communications from the owner where not really very nice. Also we have been told that check in is only possible until 8pm, after that you can't check in and have to find another place to sleep (but obviously pay that night anyway). The instructions to find the appartment are only in french and not the best, but they where ok. At the check in we had to sign a contract of 7 pages with all the details of what was in the apartment and in which conditions the things where. Also they have been sending a lot of fotos to us with all the details of the apartment and how they want it to be left. It is understandable that they want you to take care about the apartment, but like this they really make you feel uncomfortable and really not welcome as a guest. And it is something you probably do not want on our holiday. We have been told that they would have checked the consumption of electricity and water and we could get extra charged if it would be too much! Directly after the check in I went to sit on the bed and it broke down. So I had to contact the owner again, hoping that they would not charge me for that. Fortunately someone came and I tried to help him to fix the bed but he we had some troube to do that so we slept in another bed. Fortunately they did not charge us for the broken bad as we have already signed the 7pager contract.
